Hi, I’m Shona — I look after communications and marketing at Velocity Financial. Designing clear, engaging comms in a complex industry like finance is a challenge I genuinely enjoy. I love finding ways to bridge the gap between technical financial info and the real-world needs of everyday "non-financey" people (like me!). One of my favourite things is taking the clever thinking from our team and turning it into simple, meaningful messages that connect with our clients — who, like me, are always keen to learn more and be confident in their financial decisions. Outside of work, I’m a mum, a keen photographer and love getting outdoors — especially hiking. I also train in martial arts, and I’ve been known to wield a sword on occasion!
