We’re pleased to welcome Brendon back from the Te Araroa Trail. He’ll be sharing his insights, learnings, and reflections from the trail with clients and the wider Velocity community in March.

We’ve officially established a Velocity Financial satellite office in Tauranga and are delighted to welcome Diana and Jared, who have joined us this week as Financial Advisers in the region. We’ll formally introduce them in more detail in March, watch this space!

Our impact‑focused initiative, the Kaitiaki Foundation, is now underway, creating a vehicle to help charities and not‑for‑profits invest in a way that aligns with their purpose.

We’ll also be hosting a Kaitiaki Foundation event in April with Steven Moe from Seeds, a lawyer, author and podcaster working with start-ups, investors, tech companies, charities and purpose-driven businesses. Details to follow next month.
Some big news for us. We’ve launched a new internal intranet, designed to streamline processes and reduce time spent on admin, freeing our team up to focus on what matters most: client work!
We’re excited to share that a refreshed Velocity Financial website is on its way. More to come in the following months as we roll this out.

This month we hosted Kady from Milford Asset Management, Alex from Godfreys Chartered Loss Adjusters, Paula from Generate Wealth and Michael and Carla from GYW Law to strengthen supplier relationships and enhance our client offerings.
