Business News & Initiatives

Kaitiaki Foundation – Building Momentum

The Kaitiaki Foundation, our charitable initiative, is now underway, supporting charities and not-for-profits to strengthen their financial foundations in a way that aligns with their long-term goals and purpose.

Since March, we’ve begun bringing this work to life through sector-focused events and conversations.

In April, we hosted an “Investing for Impact” evening alongside Steven Moe (Parry Field Lawyers, Seeds), bringing together trustees, leaders, and practitioners from across the not-for-profit and impact sector. It was a fantastic evening, with around 80 people in the room and strong engagement across the discussion.

Building on that momentum, we’ve continued to create spaces for learning, connection, and practical conversation.

This Friday, we’re hosting a live listening and networking event at our Wellington office in support of the Seeds Impact Conference 2026, being recorded in Christchurch. The afternoon will bring people together to listen, connect, and continue the conversation around strengthening financial foundations across the sector.

These gatherings are an important part of how the Kaitiaki Foundation operates — not just as a bridge between the impact sector and financial advice, but as a place to bring people together, share thinking, and build confidence in long-term financial decision-making.
