My name is Joshua Rhind and I’m the General Manager of Caveo—Velocity Financial’s new Fire & General Insurance division.
I have been involved with insurance since leaving the NZ Army in 2015 and during this time I have had exposure to all its different aspects: life and health, domestic and, most recently, commercial.
I've been helping my clients navigate the realms of insurance long enough to know that they want the hassle taken out of what is often a tedious process. It's my job as a broker to give you advice on what cover you should take, why you should take it and how exactly it's going to work for you.
Here at Caveo, I deal in both the domestic and commercial aspects of fire and general insurance. If you’re domestic this means I am here to help you find the right insurer for your home, car, contents, rental and boat. If you are commercial then I am focussed on protecting your business and seeing it succeed—whether you’re a builder or an IT consultant, whether you own a restaurant or a commercial building. I have a wealth of information and tools available to help.
A key difference with me is that I view this as an ongoing relationship; I do not sort your insurance and then disappear for a year. I educate my clients, I add value outside of insurance, I check-in often and you’ll always get me when you call—whether it’s a question about your cover, a claim submission or to let me know about any changes.
