Lance Shearman

Lance is a Financial Adviser and Planner at Velocity Financial with extensive experience across mortgage lending, personal insurance, KiwiSaver, investment and planning advice. He works with individuals, families and business owners, helping them navigate important financial decisions with confidence and clarity. Well known for his humour, quick wit and ability to make financial matters easy to understand, Lance has helped clients achieve a wide range of financial and property goals. He has extensive experience in the Wellington property market and has spent many years running first-home buyer education events throughout the Wellington region. Drawing on a diverse background in community development and client advocacy, Lance enjoys helping clients identify opportunities, overcome barriers and achieve great outcomes with as little stress as possible. In his spare time, Lance enjoys many sports, co-hosting the Idiom Proof podcast and pursuing his long-standing passion for music as a drummer.
